CIPTC Holds Chinese Classes and Chinese Cultural Activities
近日,国培中心开展中国结学习制作活动和糖画体验活动,为外国教师提供中文学习的平台,搭建中外文化交流的桥梁。
CIPTC carried out Chinese knot making activity and sugar painting experience to provide a platform for foreign teachers to learn Chinese and to build a bridge between Chinese and foreign cultures recently.
一缕红丝线,交错成龙凤。中国结展现了中华文化的底蕴,代表了人与人之间相互关心、理解和协作,象征着祥和、幸福和美好的愿望。外国教师在中文老师的介绍下学习中国结的起源,不同时期中国结的发展和应用。外国教师在学习中文的同时,纷纷感叹中华文化的源远流长,博大精深。
A strand of red silk, intertwined to form a dragon and a phoenix. The Chinese knot demonstrates the heritage of Chinese culture and represents mutual care, understanding and collaboration between people, symbolising peace, happiness and good wishes. CIPTC foreign teachers were introduced to the origins of Chinese knots and the development and application of Chinese knots in different periods by Chinese teacher. While learning Chinese, foreign teachers were impressed by the long history and profoundness of Chinese culture.
看着老师制作中国结,外国教师也摩拳擦掌,跃跃欲试地想制作自己的中国结。通过与老师间的不断沟通、修改和练习,一朵朵中国结小花出现在外国教师的手中。“太有意思了!”大家纷纷感慨道。老师又教授大家制作传统中国结,有了之前的基础,大家很快得到要领,制作出五颜六色的中国结。
Watching the teachers making Chinese knots, foreign teachers were also eager to make their own knots. Through continuous communication, adjustment and practice with the teacher, small flower shaped Chinese knots appeared in the hands of foreign teachers. "It was so much fun!" Everyone exclaimed. The teacher taught the group to make traditional Chinese knots. With the previous foundation, everyone quickly got the hang of it and made colourful Chinese knots.
糖画是中华民俗文化的载体,是中国历史悠久的神奇的民间艺术,也是中国非物质文化遗产。外国教师欣赏四大名著中的糖画形象,学习糖画的历史渊源。外国教师和中文老师一起熬制糖浆,了解制作糖画的奥秘。以勺为笔,融糖为墨。伴着糖浆的香气,外国教师在案板上发挥灵感创作,挥洒之间,绘制出灿烂的花朵,翩翩起舞的蝴蝶,栩栩如生的图案和美丽的英文。
Sugar painting is a carrier of Chinese folk culture, a magical folk art with a long history in China, and an intangible cultural heritage of China. Foreign teachers enjoyed the sugar painting images from the Four Masterpieces of China and learnt about the historical origins of sugar painting. Foreign teachers and Chinese teachers boiled sugar syrup together to learn the mystery of sugar painting. The spoon was used as a brush and the sugar was used as ink. With the aroma of sugar syrup, the foreign teachers created inspiration on the boards, painting brilliant flowers, dancing butterflies, lifelike patterns and beautiful English.
中华文化学习活动在欢声笑语中结束。外国教师学习中华文化有助于增进不同国家的交流和理解,丰富世界文明内涵,促进文化的多元化发展。
Chinese culture learning activities ended with laughter. The study of Chinese culture helps foreign teachers to enhance exchanges and understanding between different countries, enrich the content of world civilisation and promote cultural pluralism.
